I got sick of looking at the old template, so i decided to add a new one. Hope you like it!

The Many Faces Of Cristine

14 Feb

One of the lasts things i ever thought that i was going to do was write a review on someones face. Who in their right mind would even want to read a review about someones face, well besides the said person that is asking me to write this review. Obviously

Cristine is special to me! and by “Special” i don’t mean retarded special. So let’s begin.

The Evolution Of Cristine’s Face

In the beginning there was a face. It wasn’t any ordinary face. It was Cristines Face! As seen in the picture to the right of this page you will see the first of three pictures of Cristine’s face in many ways! The first one is Cristine on any normal day when she isn’t either going to work, going out or other stuff she does! To your right is Cristine normally.

Her face is different from Normal to Part mode which you will see in the next picture. Anyway back to this photo.

Her face is normal. Normal as can be their isn’t anything out of the oridnary actually… Her face is normally like this anyway so their really isn’t much to say about this face. It doesn’t change!

Well besides the make-up obviously. But her face still looks good. Actually everytime i see her, her face is like this. So it’s nothing new to me… Maybe to you though! Seeing as you’ve probably never seen her/met her.

Party Face, Cristine.

This face is what i like to call party face, Cristine. Or festival face, Cristine. Because this photo was taken at some festival she attented. Now i can’t even remember what type of music she likes but by the looks of the photo that really doesn’t matter because i’m writing about her face, not her music tastes.

Now i’m sure in this photo her face is the last thing you’d be looking at is her face right now. Well stop looking there!, becuase this is a review of her face not her body!…

Just saying. Anyway. As you can see by her face she is enjoying herself even though that guy behind her is walking away and not paying attention to her at all, which i happen to find really funny. But hey, that’s just me, i guess. Anyway. I don’t really have much of to say about her face.

Maybe if i actually went to gig or some type of festival she happen to be at then i’d be able to get a live interview of her face. Which right now i don’t have… Oh well, maybe next time.

The Going Out Face

This face is what i like to call the going out face because as you can tell by her get up she is about to hit the city… Which she does very often with her friends and boys and other people and such (Not including me).

But anyway. With this final face i happen to call the Going Out Face, Cristine likes to have fun! But i’m not her biographer so i don’t know what this face is really saying…

Maybe it’s “Hey look at my hair, it’s a different colour”… But this isn’t a review about her hair so i really doubt she’d be saying that. Or maybe she is… I don’t know what it is, i don’t even know what she’s thinking… Maybe she’s thinking about me. Maybe! …I doubt it.

The End of the Face, Cristine.

In-conclusion, it’s a pretty face. But! I’m not her boyfriend so i don’t have to see or kiss her face all the time. But if i was her boyfriend then obviously i would be doing that.

I hope you enjoyed reading this, Cristine. Even though you made me write this and i didn’t enjoy it at all!

– Love, Steve.

Freelance Writing

6 Feb

I’ve come up with the idea to start a freelance writing section on my website, blog and maybe even future podcast episodes…

I know how hard it can be to get your stuff out there these days, so i thought it would be an awesome idea to allow people to post things on my website (with my prior consent of course) on what ever they want.

Do you have something you want to write on a website on whatever you want? Then shoot me an email to questions [at] steve likoski productions [dot] com

I really don’t know how i long or how i want to go about this, i think i’ll see how it goes when people start sending things in.

So yeah, what i’m pretty much saying is, if you’d like to do freelance writing and you need a place to put, it then send it on through.

The Green Hornet

2 Feb

The Green Hornet, the latest movie starring Seth Rogen “Britt Reid/The Green Hornet” (Pineapple Express, Superbad and Funny People) along side Jay Chou “Kato”, Christoph Waltz “Benjamin Chudnofsky/Bloodnofsky” (col. Hans Landa from Inglourious Basterds and appearing in the new adaptation of the Three Musketeers) and Cameron Diaz “Lenore Case” (who has not done anything great since Being John Malkovich all the way back in 1999). And stars Tom Wilkinson as James Reid.

Cameo Appearance from the likes of.
James Franco as a dealer named “Danny Clear”.
Edward Furlong plays a meth dealer.

Main Crew:
Directed by: Michael Gondry
Produced by: Neal Moritz
Written/Executive Produced by: Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg

The Story:
Britt Reid is the son of James Reid the publisher of the Los Angeles newspaper “The Daily Sentinel. Britt is your common spoilt rich kid. He parties, sleeps with girls, has endless money and has no job or education. After a heated arguement with his father James. James goes for a walk by himself around their huge mansion. Britt comes back home to find out his father has “supposedly” been killed by a bee sting. After the enevitible funeral takes place Britt fires every single person who was working under his father besides his maid and Kato.

Britt and Kato get drunk one night and agreed that they their hatred for James was mutual. They both thought it would be a great idea to cut off the head of his fathers statue that was given to him by the state of los angeles and all James’s piers.

Later on as they’ve cut off the head of Britt Reid’s father James’s statue, criminals try to attack a guy and a girl who are walking in the street. Britt and Kato fight off the criminals and they actually really enjoyed it. Britt eventually convinces Kato that they should start a team and fight crime in the city of Los Angeles, but the catch is, Britt wants them to pose as criminals to infiltrate real criminals and prevent them from hurting people.

Britt hires Lenore Case as his assistant and reseracher and uses her for advice on how to help himself and Kato raising the green hornets profile worldwide. Lenore gives them an idea of starting from the bottom and making their way to the top by taking out drug labs and lower class criminals so they can slowly make a name for themselves. At this point Lenore does not know that Britt and Kato are the green hornet.

When the green hornet and Kato start destroying meth labs and other drug labs it all goes back to the main bad guy Chudnofsky who was giving a lot of green hornet calling cards after britt and kato destroyed the labs.

Chudnofsky has had enough of the green hornet and kato so he asks to meet them. kato knows this is a trap but britt doesn’t believe so nor does he want to listen to anything kato has to say about it. britt is going with his plan and that’s it. He’s clearly an egomaniac. Chudnofsky nearly gets the chance to kill Britt and Kato when they have a run in at the meeting. Luckly the quick wit of Kato and his done up car save them as they run for their lives and get out of there in one piece.

Barely escaping to the mansion is one piece. Britt and Kato have a little falling out and fight. Britt ends up firing Kato and Lenore, which he believes are an item. Kato logs into the green hornets email address and gets an email from chudnofsky. Chudnofsky offers one million dollars and a half of los angeles if he helps him kill britt reid. Not knowing that britt reid is actually the green hornet.

In the final showdown. Scanlon invites Britt to a meeting at a flashy los angeles resturant.
Britt records Scanlon who is running for mayor. Scanlon tells Britt that he killed his father and if he doesn’t let him choose the news that he wants printed than Scanlon is going to kill him just like he killed his father. A flash back occurs showing that scanlon was the one that killed James reid with an injection.

Kato arrives and attacks Chudnofsky’s mean instead of killing Britt. allowing himself and britt to get out of the resturant even though Chudnofsky now knows that Britt is really the green hornet. A big chase scene happens all the way from the resturant till the daily sentinel.
In the end Britt and Kato kill Chudnosfky.

Final Thoughts:
Honestly, it was an ok movie. I probably wouldn’t go and watch it a second time unless i scored free tickets, or if i got paid to write this review (which i’m not… Clearly). But as i am a huge Seth Rogen fan, i’d still buy the DVD just to add it to my collection and to see what extras they’ve come up with.

Rating:
6/10 – It could have been better, not a lot of laughs, really. Great action but it could have been way better. Seth and Evan Goldberg are fantastic writers and they can definitely write comedy/action just look at Pineapple Express.

Thanks for reading!

Royal Rumble 2011

31 Jan

The Road to WrestleMania began at this years WWE Royal Rumble 2011. Much to the interest of no one, but this was actually the first Pay Per View i’ve actually ordered since TNA’s LockDown 2007, Where Samoa Joe took the TNA World Heavyweight Championship away from Kurt Angle in a Steel Cage Match. Much to the surprise of no one, everyone knew Samoa Joe was going to win the title… Well besides idiots of course.

Anyway! This blog is about the WWE‘s Royal Rumble. So let’s get right into it.WWE’s Royal Rumble for 2011 was held live on January the 30th (31st in Australia) from the TD Garden in Boston, Massachusetts.

The first match was a Singles match for the World Heavyweight Championship. Putting Edge versing the #1 contender Dolph Ziggler. The stupid stipulation they had (And Vickie Guerrero didn’t let us forget that at the start of the show) Was if Edge used the spear on Dolph Ziggler, he would’ve lost the title… I saw the first five minutes of the match until i was actually on the phone at the same time as the rest of the match but from what i could see it looked like one great match. Dolph ziggler pulled off some awesome moves, but what really shocked me was that awesome looking sit out powerbomb Edge done to Dolph.

To cut the story short, Edge ends up winning by using Christians (Fake Brother) own finisher. Which i and i don’t think anyone expected at all. But when they ban you from using your most favourite movie it’s kind of difficult to come up with something original. But hey, anyone that didn’t expect Edge to win is crazy, no one in the world was Dolph going to win the world title. I mean sure, i’d love to see it, but i highly doubt it’s going to happen anytime soon. Maybe after WrestleMania. Well anyway, onto the next much i think.

If it wasn’t an actualy shock to anyone that the first match of the night was going to be aWorld Heavyweight Championship match then i guess the WWE championship being defended doesn’t bother anyone either. Well it totally does me. Sure i mean it’s the Royal Rumble, so of course that was going to be the main event. But sure the WWE title could of been the semi-Mainevent… Right?

As i finish joking about the relevance of having world title match at the start of a pay per view, let’s get on to the match. So of course the next match was for the WWE championship. Purtting the currently WWE Champion, The Miz going up against the #1 Contender, (The Viper) Randy Orton, or to other people out there. Mini Austin, Bob Orton Junior Junior, The Viper, Not Stone Cold… And so on.

to be far, i’m not going to get into a whole lot of detail because well… I really can’t stand Randy Orton (Truth). I know it’s not nice to say but i just don’t like him and don’t find him to be an enjoyable wrestler… And as my mother put it “He looks like a fag with his shit tattoo’s” (Well said Mother!)

So to really shorten this awesome review, CM Punk comes in and gives Randy the GTS while the ref is distracted. The End. The Miz retains the title. (See photo Above)

The third match of the night and unfortuanetly it actually happened, i mean sure, i enjoy looking at the Divas but nothing of them can actually wrestle which is the sad part. Out of the whole Divas (Womens) roster, only 30% of them can actually put on an actually wrestling match. It’s the truth and i think if you sat down and actually watched any wrestling show currently going on in the WWE you would see this to be the truth. For some stupid reason the WWE thought it would actually be good to give Eve the Divas title for a second time, no i don’t know why this is and frankly i want them to give it to someone proper, maybe someone that can actually wrestle (Beth, Kong, Natalya, Michelle, Melina, Gail Kim…)

But anyway, enough about how stupid that idea was for give the title to Eve it’s actually time to get on with the actual match… Sadly

First of all it was meant to be a 2 on 1 Handi-cap match putting the current Divas Champion, Natalya (Nattie Neidhart) going up against the team of Michelle McCool and Layla.

But for some stupid reason the Anon RAW GM changed it to a fatal four way and added the horrible Eve to the match and better yet they gave ger the fucken title (#1 F-Bomb)

It honestly annoys me, sure she’s probably a really nice person BUT! she sucks as a wrestler and doesn’t deserve a title and if i recall, the last thing she was doing was dancing with JTG backstage being lame.

Anyway i believe that’s enough about that horrible thing called the Divas division. Now onto the actualy Royal Rumble Match! I’m not going to talk about everything but i will give a quick walk through

The only real stand-outs of the night were the return of Booker T and Diesel (Kevin Nash) which fuck! (#2 F-Bomb) were a total surprise to everyone. These two guys were way more over than anyone else who was in that ring at the same time as them and boy it was really awesome to see them. I’m glad that they didn’t currently sign with TNA and the came and did this. It was great and i really hope they stick around to do some thing up until and hopefully after WrestleMania!

22 Means I’m Getting Old… Clearly.

23 Jan

Not really, but still. 22 is nothing these days, but people do seem to act like the 20s are the new 60s. Now i know that probably doesn’t make any sense to you what so ever.

But anyway, before i do go getting off track, their is a couple of things i would like to say.

  • 1) The PS3 is a pile of crap
  • Reason: The updates take way to long and when they finally do update, it’s a crap update and i wasted time.

  • 2) My birthday is coming up on the 6th of February… Just saying
  • And as a final note, i’m really sick of flooding my own Twitter account with things, so i’ve decided to make another Twitter account just for reviews. Reviews as in, TV, Film, Video Games, Apps, People and so on.
